Welcome to the July 2017 edition of Alcohol Alert, the Institute of Alcohol Studies newsletter, covering the latest updates on UK alcohol policy matters.

This month's issue sees the Scottish Government go to the UK Supreme Court in the latest episode of a long-running battle against the Scotch Whisky Association over the legality of its minimum unit pricing legislation.
